Matt and Branden met in 2005 while attending the University of North Florida for their freshman year. The two have been inseparable ever since. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, major in Financial Services. Branden graduated with a Bachelor of Education, major in Math & Science. Both went on to work different jobs out of college. It wasn’t until 2012 that an idea and passion started for the both of them.
In 2012 Matt, and his wife Jackie, purchased their first home in Jax Beach. It was a foreclosure and in need of an entire home renovation. With the help of a family contractor, both Branden and Matt spent every night after work and every weekend renovating the house. Shortly after Matt’s home was completed, Branden and his wife Brittani decided to buy a foreclosed home in Jax Beach as well. The two went back to work remodeling Branden’s home in whatever spare time they had between their full-time jobs.
Both Branden and Matt realized that they enjoyed the real estate and construction work they were doing more than their full-time jobs. From there, they put a plan in motion to start a business that serviced both the needs of clients buying/selling a home, as well as clients in need of home renovations.
Matt and Branden quit their jobs and started Someday Homes in 2016. Matt worked with clients helping them buy/sell/invest in real estate while Branden strapped on the tool belt and got busy turning clients’ renovation dreams into reality. Amidst, working with their clients, they started flipping homes on top of everything else.
In 2020, the two brought their business plan full circle. Matt obtained his real estate broker’s license and opened Someday Homes Realty while Branden obtained his residential building contractor’s license and started building new construction homes.
